Went here randomly for a cousin meetup. Pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and great presentation. Get the ceviche folks you will not regret.

The food was amazing. We had the squash blossom quesadilla, mole and duck, and the pana cotta. The service was equally as great as the food. Highly recommend and we can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

I hosted my sister's bridal shower at Palo Santo and cannot recommend it enough! We had the back room and garden to ourselves and it was perfect for that kind of event. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. Pros: - Amazing food - Amazing staff - Unlimited drinks - Bathroom right by the back room so it was basically a private bathroom - Beautiful backdrop in the big doors and the garden - Free to decorate how we wanted and they let us in early to set up - Very communicative throughout the whole process. Things to note for your own event: - The garden is smaller than it looks. Still a special surprise for the venue but maybe six people can sit out there comfortably. We put gifts out there and let people mingle in and out for photos. - The stairs up to the garden are so steep, so just be careful and it's not usable for older guests. - Food comes out family style and quick, so less table decorations are better so there's room for the good stuff- the food! - the max capacity is 36 people, but we had 30 and it felt maxed out. I think 25-30 people is a more comfortable number for that space. I'd highly recommend this venue just for a meal or especially for an event! Thank you Palo Santo!!

I came in with a group of friends on a saturday for brunch. We had a reservation, and it seemed quite full, so I would consider making one for brunch. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and a pre-fixe brunch menu. We sat outside and started with the bottomless mimosas for the table. Their bottomless limit is only 60 minutes though! The bread they brought out for the table was like a bread/muffin hybrid texture? I cannot explain it, but it had a lightly sugared/browned top and edge and was slightly sweet. It was very unique and we all really enjoyed it! We also had the fish tacos, bean and cheese pupusas, huevos banados, the omelette of the day, and the potato hash. Everyone enjoyed their food and we left happy and full to head to an event nearby!

Palo Santo is a cute, unassuming restaurant in Park Slope. I don't often find myself in Park Slope, but I was meeting a friend who knows the area and recommended this restaurant. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. The outdoor area was pretty standard and felt like a nice neighborhood spot. The menu was simple but had many dishes I wanted to try. My friend, who had been there a few times, recommended the mole. I ordered the mole chicken tacos and added rice and beans. The rice and beans were basic but served with an orange hot sauce that added a nice kick. The chicken tacos were really flavorful, with fresh and crispy tortillas. The mole sauce was amazing, and I highly recommend trying it. The service was friendly and attentive to our needs, which I especially appreciated since we were the only ones sitting outside. I'd recommend Palo Santo to anyone in the area; it's a good, reliable, and casual spot.

My manager and I often dine after spending a day together, and he prefers to stay in a hotel in Park Slope due to ease of getting anywhere in NY and for the huge abundance of good places to dine. I chose this place because it seemed different from some of the other local places. I believe I picked a winner. I arrived 1st, and there was no one in the restaurant at first. The chefs called someone, and the evening began with the hostess, waiter, and customer service person Katie, who was the tip of our great dining experience. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and perfect hostess. I felt her friendliness, and she took it to a higher level. I wanted to play a joke on my managers arrival, and she went along with it. He arrived, and we had a good laugh. After we sat down, I asked, and she gave me her suggestions on appetizers and main meals. I went with both and was not disappointed. I usually don't eat everything, but last night was different. I ate everything. I saw they had 4 choices of Uruguaian wine, amongst and nice selection of wines from different Spanish regions. She described the characteristics of each wine. We decided to go with the Tannat Akardia. We enjoyed the wine very much and even thought it matched with the pulpo (octopus) we had as an appetizer. We also ordered the shaved Brussels sprouts as an appetizer. We we very pleased at both. For dinner, we got the swordfish and the Pato (duck), both of which Katie recommended, and we enjoyed. Normally, we never have dessert, but with Katie's personality, we could not resist and had the bread pudding. We had a very nice dining experience here, and my manager even made a note on returning to dine again! The glue to pur experience was truly Katie for her professionalism and her wonderful personality!!!

Love. Love. Love! The food here is remarkable. I was really impressed with their entrees and desserts, which we got from their three course prix fixe menu for $49 per person. I was able to try two of each set as I shared. APPETIZER - Yellowfin Tuna Ceviche (4/5) & Grilled Calamari (3/5) The ceviche was a nice sour. The calamari, on the other hand, was bitter in some random bites (not sure what was making it bitter). ENTREE - Pato En Mole Poblano (5/5) & Grass Fed Skirt Steak (4/5) The pato (duck) was soo tender and well cooked. The poblano tasted amazing with the duck. Just no words. Meanwhile, the skirt steak was good but doesn't top the duck in terms of tenderness and flavor. It comes with yuca fries and queso sauce. Dessert - Coconut Tres Leches (5/5) & Chocolate Pecan Bread Pudding (5/5) Both the bread pudding and tres leches were equally and highly impressive. If they made a bakery or dessert shop, I would seriously visit every day. I also like the small request for feedback when you pay at the end. You can compliment the food, workers or make a small note of what could be better.

- the mimosas stay flowing during the bottomless brunch - they let you stay more than the advertised 60 minutes - the steak was seasoned very well - they give lots of potatoes - I liked the bacon - I love the homemade hot sauce - I love the brownstone facade - staff is very attentive they are kind of aloof tho, they made mistake on our bill on two separate occasions - platano relleno was delicious

I've run by this place so many times over the years and then finally... I took the opportunity to go. Loves: + Honestly I felt like everything was pretty good, from the mole poblano to the quesadilla. They used a thicker cheese in the latter so it was interesting but also yummy + There's street, indoor, and patio dining! I probably like the back patio the best bc it felt like our own private space for awhile. There's only a four-top and two two-top tables + Friendly staff + No drinkies this visit but that gives me something to look forward to for a future visit One thing to note is the reservations might look out online, but you can most likely do a walk-in for a party of two easily, even on a weekend night.
